What happens when a group of developers, designers, usability experts and travel junkies get fed up enough with online travel to build themselves their own travel site? Foundations are laid that will change the face of online travel forever.

Back in 2004, the then small team at Core8 ltd, all sat around a table and hashed out everything that was wrong with the state of online travel. Talk led to brain storming, brain storming led to the rolling up of sleeves. Later that same year the very first incarnation of www.tripextras.com was born. The site focused on the less commonly thought of travel services such as airport parking and airport lounge access and over time began to slowly develop a loyal customer following who were impressed by the small group's devotion to making their holidays the best they could be. Over the next six years TripExtras continued to grow offering more services and continually refining their customer experience but never loosing the intense focus they started out with.

Today, TripExtras officially announced their exciting rebirth as the site that will change the face of online travel. What started as a group of co-workers wanting to build something better for themselves to use is today the destination for travellers expecting more from their online travel experience. Expanded services, detailed travel guides, a growing stable of free travel tools and the promise of much more on the way are all available to anyone who knows they deserve more when they plan their holiday online.
